A good pin vise, but it doesn’t have enough clamping force to keep the bits in place while it’s being used. A lot of different things in a good case to keep them in. It’s mostly hollow, so it feels lighter than it looks. Unless it’s thrown around a lot, it should last for a long time.
When I got mine, it was in a package that had been opened and taped back together. The parts were covered in what I think was machine oil and small pieces of glitter. There was a lot of mess to clean up and the pin vise felt even more cheap because of it. This doesn’t affect how the pin vise works.
