Unfortunately, this did not work for me. I tried it on several different sizes of seasoned firewood, and it seized up every single time. (I was using an 18-volt DeWalt drill at the time. I attempted it from both sides and at the end. I never got all the way through, and when I reversed the drill, the bit would come loose from the cutting tool and fall out. I returned it to Amazon and received a full refund.
