Before I bought this item, I did a lot of research because I already own a dermmel tool and wanted to use their accessories with this item. A lot of people had bad things to say about it, which made me think about it. As it turns out, mine does, except for the cutoff arbor that holds the grinding disks. It was a little bigger and the collet won’t open wide enough to fit, so for my review, it does accept dremmel products.
Was it powerful enough to be useful? This was my second worry. Again, it met my expectations. I bought mine for polishing, but I’ve also used it for grinding and it works better than I thought it would. It has more power than my dremmel tool. I use a 5 hp Craftsman 15 gallon air compressor to run mine.
As long as the collet could be moved a little more, I would have given it five stars. If you want to buy this, I think you can do so with confidence, and I would recommend it to a friend as well.
