I used to clean guns and other parts so they could be put on Duracoat. Use 120 grit aluminum oxide at 80 to 90 psi to get the job done. A 20-gallon compressor with a 1.3 HP motor is all I need to run it. A lot of the time, the hopper is already empty when my compressor motor starts up. As soon as the hopper is filled, my compressor is full and ready for another run. This is how it works. A little inefficient with media waste, but I don’t blast enough to make this a big deal, so I don’t think about it. Use outside for small and quick jobs.
