The BLACK+DECKER 12 Volt MAX* Cordless Drill/Driver is a small, powerful tool that can be used for all kinds of household tasks. This 2.18 lb tool lets you drill through wood, metal, plastic, and more all at the same time. With its small size, this tool is great for hanging pictures, putting together furniture, securing towel racks and other fixtures, and tightening loose screws. The BLACK+DECKER 12-Volt Max battery gives you power, run-time, and a lighter weight so you can work longer and more quickly without getting tired. The 11-position clutch control lets you set your settings for the job at hand so that you don’t strip screws or drill too far. With a trigger-activated LED light, you can work in small and dark places. This is thanks to the soft-grip handle. You can easily and comfortably finish your list.

After I thought there was something wrong with the drill’s keyless chuck, I sent it back.

I’ve included a picture of the instructions in case anyone else went through the same thing I did and wants to see it. So, if you’re going to write an instruction manual, make it look like the product.

After returning and getting the same drill, I thought I’d try and see if I was missing something.

:-. The drill isn’t made like the picture. Worked fine after I added the piece.

You just have to twist the two parts of the Keyless Chuck to put the bit inside. You’ll see some of the inside rise up and open up so that you can put things in. There is a lot of strength in there now.

I think it’s on page 9 of the instruction book. It isn’t too hard to follow though. It would be nice if the pictures weren’t so deceiving.
