This one is good. I’ve tried the Hitachi/Metabo one, but it didn’t last long enough for more than a few jobs. Before DeWalt has one on the market, this is the one I’m going to use.
Having to carry a compressor and hoses around is great.
They say that the clip is flimsy, but I’ve found that to be the case with most of the battery nailers that I have used. I’ve used it for a few jobs now, but now it won’t fire with the tip on. It’s good that it doesn’t damage the trim, but I’m worried about how long it will last.
In comparison to pneumatic guns, this is a lot bigger and more powerful.
Pin nailers that run on batteries seem to break down more quickly than those that run on air. For that reason, I still have a compressor and hoses in case I need them.
