On this one, there are still a few kinks to be worked out.
The first and most significant issue is that there is no place to place a wrench on the saw side in order to tighten down the saw blade.
Second of all, the motor is in close proximity to the saw blade.
Third, with the motor configured in this manner, you will be able to run the motor in reverse to prevent the blade from becoming loose if it jams.
The first issue would be to make the arbour a little bit longer in order to accommodate a wrench, which would allow you to properly tighten the nut.
The other two issues would be resolved if the drive pully was mounted on the blade side rather than the drill side, as it currently is. This would allow the motor to not be directly in front of the blade, preventing it from being damaged while cutting, as well as allowing the motor to be run in the proper direction. Even though it is not a big deal and will not cause any damage or harm to the motor, it bothers me because I have OCD. Lo.
Aside from that, this is a very sturdy and well-constructed product.
