I just had to come back and give this 5 or 6 stars. More I use it, the more I enjoy it. This is what I used to refinish my kitchen cabinets, and I used it on all of the hinges. I think there were about 40 hinges and 6 screws on each. As long as it didn’t run out of power, it worked perfectly every day. It didn’t need to be recharged at all. When I saw how well it worked, I was shocked. This is the best value for the money.

This was on my list of things to buy, so I looked at some of the reviews. I especially looked at the 1 and 2 star reviews, because they were more likely to be true. Because of a few good reviews, I tried it out.
OK, so it’s not very strong, but that’s what you’d expect. All in all, it’s only $20.00. One of the things people said was that it didn’t drill very well. It’s not a drill at all. Reviewers thought it was a drill because it didn’t say so. It also didn’t have much torque or power. So, it has a lock setting that lets you break the screws loose and tighten them by hand. It has a very big advantage because it is fast and doesn’t break down. Not having to move your hand every quarter turn and risk losing contact with the screw head because you were using your other hand to hold the pieces in place, etc.
There were also complaints that the battery didn’t hold a charge or, in a few cases, didn’t charge at all. I think one of two things could be going on here. That’s one of two things that could have happened. The other is that they didn’t read the instructions and charge it properly the first time. This is why Amazon has a great return or exchange policy because they want you to be happy. Because of bad luck, I’ve had to use it. All was well.
The only thing I agree with, and the reason I gave it 4 stars, is the location of the power switch and the way it works. Even so, this isn’t a big problem to deal with at all.
This tool is just what it is. There is no reason to be mad at it because it isn’t a full-sized drill/driver tool. To get power and torque when you drill and drive, get a hand drill that can be charged.
