Palmgren’s industrial grinders and buffers are completed by this POWERGRIND combination heavy duty bench grinder and buffer, which is available in two sizes. From heavy rock stock removal to finishing and polishing operations, this machine is built to last. In order to provide the extra current required during start-up and operation under load, these grinder/buffers are equipped with capacitor motors. Rotors that are dynamically balanced, as well as sealed bearings, reduce vibration and ensure consistently smooth operation.
Steel-seated ball bearings support the motor shaft and are designed to last an exceptionally long time. The high precision one-piece steel construction, which includes an open flanged shaft for all of your buffing and polishing applications, ensures that the job is done correctly the first time, every time, without fail. Wheel guard that complies with OSHA regulations for all grinding wheel and wire brush applications. The following items are included with this POWERGRIND bench grinder and buffer.

It is used for milling and other demanding machine applications, as well as for other tough vises. Hardened moveable jaw plates are square to within 0.0015-Inch of an inch of their maximum width. Smooth jaw plates made of hardened and ground tool steel (replaceable); a large cast iron crank handle for turning the jaw plates. The base and bed are parallel to 0.002-Inch in length and width. With two bolts, the removable base can be rotated 360 degrees (1 degree graduations) and fastened in place with a nut and bolt assembly.
This buffer/grinder is a powerful, well-balanced piece of equipment. It provides excellent value for money. Having said that, the first unit was damaged during UPS shipping and arrived on my front porch very quietly, as if it had been delivered by stealth, despite the fact that parts of it were protruding from the shipping box. The second delivery was very similar to the first. The shipping box was a complete mess, and the unit was once again delivered in stealth mode..despite the fact that a request had been made to inspect the unit upon receipt.
As a result, the grinder/buffer is excellent, but the shipping experience is terrible.
