I purchased this nailer because the gauge cleat required by the flooring I am installing is not readily available in any of the stores where I shop. Overall, the nailer performs admirably. That is, until it isn’t. We had a problem with the no mar feet in our second room of flooring, which caused the alignment to be skewed. The replacement parts are not available in any store or on the manufacturer’s website, which is a disappointment (despite the manual telling me to go to their website for replacement parts). I contacted the manufacturer, and while she was pleasant, her only solution was to “check to see if I have these parts in stock, but if I don’t, I’ll send you a new nailer. So, while that might work for the time being, I’ll have to 1. wait for either option to be completed and mailed to me, and 2. wait for the other option to be completed and mailed to me. Please don’t ship me another nailer unless they are certain that it will not crack at the feet.

When considering this nailer, keep in mind that if your flooring requires this gauge, you should choose a different flooring. RUN RIGHT NOW.

Another disadvantage of this nailer is that it cannot hold a large number of cleats at the same time. I’m only able to put one line of cleats in at a time, so be patient. As a result, you must pay close attention to the time when you are about to run out.

Abridged version of the above: it works in general, but because it is an uncommon cleat gauge, I would strongly consider using a more common gauge nailer if at all possible.
