Maybe my favorite tool ever. Nail guns are dangerous and require special nails. This thing is way safer and works with any normal nail. Magnet holds the nail in place so you can nail one handed – even in tight spaces. Extremely loud. Some 16 penny nails wouldn’t fit because the head was too big but probably 99% were fine. Plastic grip broke off after maybe 2k nails but it snapped back on. This thing is wonderful.
Update: I’m very sure this is not intended for kids, but my 6 year old wanted to make a shelf and there’s no way she can hammer a nail without busting a finger. So (with very close supervision) I let her use the palm nailer and she did fantastic. Biggest challenge is getting it started in the right angle.
