I work for a commercial building company. I have the 20v 8-tool Porter Cable set with the 8 tools. It’s a good set, but the charger that comes with it is not very good. . I’m always running out of batteries. From the heavy-duty case to the way the chargers are mounted to the case, this two-battery charger has been thought out very well. The cord goes through the case into a pocket, so you can charge your battery’s while you’re in the case (that they were kind enough to label with a red dead battery symbol, and a green charged battery symbol). When you have the 4.0 amp batteries, it takes a long time to charge them. I’m very happy with the quality of the double battery charger, though (the charger alone is very well made). The price seemed high at first, but when I opened the case, I found two extra batteries. The 4.0 amp is not the one. If you use your Porter-Cable tool set a lot, you need this. It’s a good deal.
