This medium crown stapler is built to last. It has a piston ring design that stops the cylinder bore from scuffing and lasts longer than “O” rings. An adjustable depth-of-drive mechanism lets you countersink fasteners to fit the job. The bump-fire trigger makes it easier to work faster. Also, even though it comes with a 1/4-inch quick coupler, the air inlet is 3/8-inch NPT, even though it has a 1/4-inch quick coupler. This stapler is the best thing I’ve ever used. It’s easy to fly with. I’ve only used about 4000 staples, but never had a jam. It didn’t even stop when the staple hit screw heads inside the wood. It just pushed the staple out and didn’t get stuck. You don’t need any tools to change the depth and direction of air flow. You never had to try the toolless unjamming thing. When you can change from a single trigger pull to a bump staple, that is great. You don’t need any tools for this, either. A very strong and well-built tool. And the cheapest one that can use 2 inch staples. With everything in mind, I don’t think you can get a better 1 to 2 inch stapler for less money.
