This is a good trimmer/router for a small amount of money. It’s small and a little quiet. I’ve been using it to make holes in some door hinges with it. One of my full-size routers is a lot harder to work with than this small one. It has enough power to run a 3/4 car “Mortise bit without any trouble.
In general, I like the clear plastic base because it gives a good view of the work area. An LED light comes with the phone. It’s too dim to be very useful.
I’ve seen people say that the height lock doesn’t stay in place. Mine is fine. Make sure you read the instructions if yours isn’t tight enough. The instructions are very clear about how to adjust the locking collar.
In general, it’s better than I thought for the price. I would buy it again without a doubt.
