It didn’t say how to fix this problem in the manual. In order to find out if there is enough room for misalignment in the screw holes, I loosen the screws that hold the fence in place. With a little attention, I was able to get the device to line up with the screen. People don’t like having to deal with this. Porter Cable should take the time to set this up when it comes from the factory, not after. It is the difference between a device that can’t be used and a device that is great. It is a very simple problem that needs to be fixed.
