Buy POWER PRO 1090X Electric Drywall Sander - Variable Speed 500-1800RPM, 800W, with Dust Absorption System, LED Light, and Carry Bag (1090X)

It’s a new design for 2021.

In this case, the 800W motor gives the sanding pad a lot of reliable and dynamic power. It is mounted mid-stem to balance the 14lb light-weight body. In this case, the variable speed motor can run from 500 to 1800rpm.

A process called “Dust Extraction.

When the static-dissipating PVC dust hose is connected to the vacuum bag, it will make it easier for the vacuum to pick up the dust (included). Ball bearings under the head help sweep dust off of the wall and keep it under the sanding head, which makes it easier to get the dust out of the tool.

To adjust the angle.

9-inch (225cm) diameter sanding head can move in many different directions to keep the head flat against the wall, so it doesn’t get in the way. Here, there is less arm and shoulder bending/twisting, which makes your work go faster. There are parts of the sander that can be removed, which helps with sanding edges and corners.

Extending the handle will give you a wider range of use. The 12W LED lights around the head make it easier to work in a brighter environment. A good tool for grinding drywall and ceilings, as well as interior and exterior walls. It can also be used to remove paint coatings, adhesives, and loose plaster from the floor.

There are a lot of things that come with a package.

It comes with a carry bag and a set of 12 9-inch sanding discs with hook-and-loop (Velcro). It also comes with an anti-static dust hose, hose adapter, extra carbon brushes, assembly tools, and the user manual and warranty.

First, let me say that I’ve been finishing drywall for businesses and homes for 15 years. I have used PorterCable power sanders for a long time, and I know how to use them. I’ve even bought a few cheaper copies of things I want to buy. There was never a PorterCable sanding system that could last or do better than any of them.

There were a lot of knock-offs that were made cheaply and had a lot of flaws in them. But I can say that the PowerPro 2100 I bought came in a safe package with no problems, and it isn’t made cheaply. So, at first glance, everything looked good. The sanding head doesn’t move when it’s turned on because there are strong power connections and controls. There is a clear rubber dust cover to keep dust from getting into the on-off switch, which is responsive.

Now, I can’t say anything about how long I’ll live. I’m writing this review after just one day of use. That’s not true at all. On the first day, I put this thing through hell and it didn’t have a problem at all. Come last night, it came out of the box, and today it ran for about 9 hours straight and sanded over 4000 sqft of Epoxy-treated concrete ceilings that had been skimmed with an all-purpose joint compound. One day, this machine paid for itself, and it’s ready to go again tomorrow.

So if you’re thinking about getting one to do your house, I think you can be sure that you’ll get a good product with a one-year warranty just in case. This means that if you buy one like I did to do commercial drywall work, you should be aware that just using it for commercial work will not keep the 1-year warranty. Even though the warranty was only for $228 and it already made me more money than the cost so I don’t care about it at all. It’s fine with me.

1 more thing.. If you’ve ever used a PorterCable or a knock-off, you know that the weight of the engine is in the back end of the power-pole. The 2100, on the other hand, has the engine near the sanding head, so you’ll have to learn a new way to balance the pole’s weight while still sanding with the same hand. It’s the only thing I could think of that might make me take away a star. Because the pole did so well and it was just an adjustment I had to make, I kept the 5th star.

Make sure you feel good about this purchase and know that you saved a lot of money.
