The POWER8 Workshop is based on an award-winning, multi-functional, and innovative case, as well as the unique UniGrip system. The UniGrip connects the battery pack and the motorized tool heads so that each tool can be used on its own. The POWER8 is the world’s smallest combo tool kit because it is so small. This tool kit can be used with the armored case to make it a full multi-purpose workshop. The drill/drive, circular saw, jig saw, and work light tool heads can be turned into handheld power tools that can be used on the go. Insert the battery into the UniGrip, and then attach any POWER8 motorized tool head to the UniGrip. Benchtop tools include a drill press, a table saw, and a scroll saw. It’s easy to attach the POWER8 motorized tool heads right to the WORKSHOP case. There are also lever/post, table saw shield, scroll saw guide, and diffuser.
Great idea, but don’t do it very well. To be fair, I had it for a short time. I only used it for light and jigsaw parts. It didn’t work while I was using jigsaw. Thought the battery needed charging, but it wouldn’t charge, and the screen said it was broken. When I tried to separate the battery from the handle, they seemed to be stuck together. Something went wrong with the contactors (see pictures).
We are trying to find a replacement who will give us the same amount of time.
