I’m sorry I bought this. I was looking for an electric screwdriver that I could use to fix my drone or RC airplane. This thing is bad. A lot of things are said about it being good for RC “and even more,” but it isn’t good for drones or RC airplanes, for example. It doesn’t have enough power. It won’t work if you can’t turn the screw with your hands. It couldn’t even put the arm keeper screw in a 9 gram servo. This is how it looked. I’m going to send this back because it doesn’t work as it should.
I just got this about 30 minutes ago, so these are my first impressions.
When Drill makes their bit holders, they use the same size as everyone else. It’s about 5mm hex. I have a lot of drill bits in that size. From the pictures, I thought this small screwdriver was bigger than it was, and that the bit holder was the standard 5mm size. I was wrong. It’s not.
The smallest phillips bit that comes with this is about the same size as the smallest drill bit. My hobby projects use small screws, so I still think this screwdriver will be good for them. I think it will be too small to use around the house.
I thought it had an 18650 battery that could be recharged, which would make sense if it was as big as I thought. When you buy it, you get a 14400 battery, which is about the same size as an AA.
This is a driver that doesn’t work with any of my standard bits. I’m not sure if I should return it.
