My Harbor Freight Bauer planer’s dust port broke because I over tightened the screw that held it in place. I bought this dust port to replace it. Of course, Harbor Freight doesn’t sell a replacement part for this, and I was surprised to learn that. It’s going to buy a new one. So, as I was looking for a new one on Amazon, I came across this one by Powertec while I was looking. It was made in the same way as the dust port on my planer, and it looks the same. To see if it would work, I tried it out. If it didn’t work out, I’d just send it back. To my surprise, the Powertec dust port was the right size for me. Even the screws that came with it worked well.
