Compared to my old pancake compressor, this one is a lot less noisy. In the past, I had to put the compressor outside and run a long hose to where I worked. When I have this compressor in the same room, I can still listen to the radio over its soft hum.
It’s not a whole lot lighter than the old pancake compressor, but its vertical shape makes it much easier to carry. I don’t have to lean to the side so that it doesn’t hit my leg with each step.
