I haven’t had a chance to use this saw yet. I finally got around to replacing my 15-year-old Milwaukee sawzawl. I wish they would still provide a good metal case for their products. In addition, the new saw does not fit in the old case, and there is no room for it in the new plastic case either. Now I have to transport an additional container to hold all of my blades, which is extremely inconvenient. This new saw should serve me well for at least a few more years, I am hoping. I wasn’t thrilled with some of the other reviews on longevity, but that’s just how things are going to be in the future. Overall, I believe Milwaukee is still the best manufacturer of reciprocating saws. As a plumber, the 3/4″ stroke is essential for me because I have to cut pipes in stud walls, which would be nearly impossible with a stroke of 1″ or more on the other models. If it weren’t for the poor quality of the case, I would have given it 5 stars.
