It’s not clear why Ridgid made this saw with an odd-sized arbor. You’ll have to pay three times as much for blades to use this saw.
To me, I don’t understand why they let this out the door. It shatters their good name. As long as Ridgid products are going down this road, why would I even think about investing in more of their products again.
Who on earth wants to pay three or four times as much for a limited number of blades with a much smaller selection or range of blade types at the same time.
My suggestion is. REMOVE all of the stock that hasn’t been sold. Ship them back with a 3/8 in the box, or better yet, installed. You might need to send in a 7/16″ flange in the box for some reason.
At what point did they decide to ship with a 7/16ths-flange?
