They’re great. In my shop, I use them all the time to work with aluminum because they are so good. On oilfield rigs, I also use them to cut and grind small pieces of metal, mostly to get heavy paint off. I don’t have to string out a cord. A wire wheel runs on the other. A 4 1/2-inch x 1/4-inch disk isn’t very big, but the battery doesn’t last very long. If you need to cut pipe or plate, get a cord. But if you need to knock down slag or clean a bead, they work great. In the beginning, I fried one. It broke in the first week. For the past two years, I haven’t had any problems with it. Four stars because one of them broke and the battery didn’t last very long.
