I used my new jigsaw just now, and it worked great. Because it’s a lot heavier than other jigsaws I’ve used, I can move it easily and quickly. I love how easy it is to put in a new blade. You just lift a lever, put the blade in, and then lower the lever. An LED light shines down to where you’re going to cut the wood, and there’s a white line that you can align with the cutting lines on it. One of the blades is made of wood and the other is made of metal. The saw comes with two blades and a nice case. Choose the Rigid brand because I already own a reciprocating saw from Rigid. This saw has been through some rough treatment over the years, but it has kept up with the job well. So I hope this jigsaw will last a long time, too.
