Designed to accommodate diamond polishing pads of the same or larger sizes, back holders are available in a variety of colors. With their velcro backing, the polishing pads can be easily attached to any back holders, allowing for quick switching between different grit sizes. Connect a back holder to the polisher and a polishing pad to the back holder. Turn on the polisher. When used in conjunction with a semi-rigid or super flex back holder, the pad can be used to polish curves and Bullnose edges on a variety of surfaces. It is possible to polish flat areas and straight edges with the pad when it is attached to a rigid back holder or aluminum back holder. When working in tight spaces, such as corners, we recommend using a back holder that is slightly undersized in order to give the pads more flexibility.

Excellent backer pad. The material is rigid and will not flex. Compared to the metal backer pad, I find myself using this one much more frequently.
