If you have a large room up to 20′ x 20′ x 8′ with an average amount of dust created by your work, this unit will circulate and clean the air eight times an hour. Fuse overload protection is built into the unit.

I chose the Rikon because of the company’s long-standing support of public broadcasting and because of its excellent reputation.
Even though my unit arrived in perfect condition, when it was turned on, it was anything but whisper quiet. Okay, things happen, and I made the decision to contact Rikon technical support. They were extremely gracious and requested that I send them a video of the noise. I did, and after 36 hours, I had not even received an acknowledgement that my email had been received, let alone that a problem ticket had been created.
Friday came around and I attempted to follow up but was informed by their phone’s auto-attendant that everyone was too busy helping others and that the switchboard had been shut down. As a result of only having my tech first name and no phone extension, I was in a pickle.
Consequently, I did what I should have done from the beginning: I apologised. I returned the Rikon to Amazon and placed an order for the WEN 3410 3-Speed, which was approximately half the price of the Rikon. It was delivered the following day and appears to be in good working order.
My understanding is that we are in the midst of a pandemic and that every company is experiencing staffing difficulties, but all I required was a little bit of attention and honesty, and I received neither.
I’m sorry, Rikon, but you’ve lost me as a client.
