I bought this when I was just starting to work with wood. I was excited about this purchase at first, but I soon realized that I didn’t want to spend the money on it. This isn’t the kind of jointer I would use for small jobs, but it might work for you. In the beginning, the table isn’t smooth. There are a lot of machine grooves, which makes pushing material through it more difficult than it should be and makes sawdust very easy to collect. Because this fence is so hard to adjust, the table isn’t always square with it, which is very important. It was out of square again every time I tried to lock it down.
