The reason I bought this was so I could cut hinge mortises in hard maple with it. When I use my old Dremel tool, the sleeve is too long and doesn’t let the bit go far enough out. People don’t like the bits, and they don’t cut the wood. Putting the thumb screw in doesn’t stop the sleeve from moving. They might work on pine, but don’t try to cut wood with them. I’m going to send this back.
