Make a note of this: the product is a device that allows you to raise and lower a router that is installed in a router table. It can be used with a wide range of different types of routers due to its versatility. The Router Raizer is shown installed on a Fein-brand router in the product illustration and description on the company’s website, which is a little confusing to read. The Router Raizer is the only component of the product; a router is not included. The instructions are well-written and comprehensive. I used a Triton router to complete the installation of the Router Raizer. The installation was not difficult, but it did require a significant amount of time. I’m pleased with the end result. Making adjustments to the height of the bit on my router is now much simpler because I no longer have to lift the router and mounting plate off the table to make the necessary adjustments. Compared to a router lift such as a JessEm or an Incra, this is a much more cost-effective solution, though it is probably not as precise (I don’t require the highest level of precision) and requires permanent modifications to your router (technically, the Router Razier can probably be removed but, effectively it becomes a permanently installed part of your router).
