All of the abrasive bands in the kit are made of cloth and have a resin bond. They are for each size drum.
The drum can be used with the electric drills, flexible shafts, and drill presses that are small and easy to move.
Drums have a “friction fit” design that doesn’t need any glue.
Lets your drill press do double duty as a spindle sander. The Big Horn 19521 Sanding Drum Set comes with a set of drums. With this set of drums and sleeves, you’ll be ready for almost any job. In this set, there are five drums that can be used to make bigger drums. They are each about 1 1/2 inches wide, 1 inch wide, 3/4 inches wide, or 1/2 inches wide. Also comes with two pairs of sleeves (two fine sets and two coarse sets). These drums can also be used with hand drills to sand things by hand. Rubber sanding drums in four different sizes with two 120 and 80 grit abrasive sleeves for each drum.
The drums didn’t fit right out of the box, and some people didn’t like that. I don’t know why. To tighten the nut on the sanding sleeve so that it fits better over the drum, tighten the nut. The drum will expand to fit the sleeve. A lot of people have a hard time getting the sleeve on their drum because it’s too big. If this happens to you, loosen the nut and roll the drum on a flat, smooth surface. To make the sleeve fit, do this:
