Having had some bad experiences with small vacuums, I was afraid this one wouldn’t be useful to me at all. This has worked well for me. I’ve used it about 25 times, mostly for wet vacs around small ponds and fountains, and it’s worked great each time. About 15 minutes of vacuuming can be done with an 18v battery that has been charged. The suction is good, but it is a little noisy in that shrill kind of way. I’m used to that, though.

UPDATE: It stopped working at the last minute. Around the 50th time it was used, three months after it was bought, it died. Batteries from three different brands didn’t work when I hit the switch to turn the thing on. It was a big let down. A tool that doesn’t work for three months is very upsetting. I have other Ryobi tools that have worked for a long time.
