Look. We all know that Milwaukee is the best tool company, but it also comes with a lot of responsibility to see big projects through. People who work at home and need a lot of power, or people who are new to construction or contracting and are learning on the job from people who have been in business for a long time. Ryobi is for people like this.

You should not be working on anything that costs more than $15,000. You should level up before you do that.

That said, though. Buy them now. For a while, the price won’t change. Several guys are talking to each other, and people are hearing about it. It doesn’t matter if you keep calling them cheap-looking fisher price toys. These are better than the Hercules line, which is a good choice for this price range.

However, I chose Ryobi because I’m going to get rid of Ryobi at some point, and these will be great home tools that can last for a long time if I don’t use them all the time.

If you can afford an extra $400, I’d only think about getting a Makita or Milwaukee. Some of these tools are tanks, but the old Makita isn’t any good.
