Buy Scotch-Brite Light Deburring Wheel - 7S Fine Grit Silicon Carbide - Metal Deburring, Finishing, and Polishing - Convolute Wheel - 8

Provides a clean and cost-effective method of removing fine burrs while still producing a polished finish.

Conformability ensures consistent finishing while exposing new abrasive minerals to the environment on a continuous basis.

The nonwoven web is cool to the touch and has less of an impact on heat-sensitive materials.

Because of the unique resin system, there is less smearing, which means less clean-up and prep time.

All types of metals, composites and glass can be polished with a multipurpose wheel, which cleans, finishes, blends, deburrs and polishes as it goes.

Description of the Produc.

The Scotch-Brite Light Deburring Wheel is a smooth-running, convoluted-constructed wheel that provides a clean system for light deburring, polishing, and finishing. It is available in a variety of sizes and shapes. In order to require less effort from the operator than a harder wheel, we constructed this wheel with soft construction and smooth operation.

The Manufacturer’s Statemen.

In applications where a moderate degree of conformability and density are required to maintain critical tolerances while also providing a fine polished finish, the Scotch-BriteLight Deburring Wheel is an excellent choice. A proprietary resin system helps to reduce smearing and heat build-up while increasing durability. Because of the non-woven web construction of the Light Deburring Wheel, it operates at a cool temperature and resists loading. This was done in order to reduce the likelihood of part discoloration and warping while also extending the life of the tire. The Light Deburring Wheel is available in a variety of abrasive grades, including fine grade.

The silicon carbide abrasive used in the Scotch-Brite Light Deburring Wheel is of a fine grade. Known for its sharpness, silicon carbide is a synthetic mineral that is commonly used in low-pressure applications such as paint preparation. Despite the fact that it degrades more quickly than aluminum oxide, it produces a superior finish.

Abrasives incorporated into non-woven nylon or synthetic fibers make Scotch-Brite industrial abrasives one-of-a-kind surface conditioning products. It is possible to create an abrasive system that delivers consistent results throughout the life of the product by combining abrasives with fibers. With an open-web material that runs cool and is load resistant, this wheel keeps abrasive minerals cutting at peak performance by preventing fibers from becoming clogged with dirt and other abrasive particles.

I use these wheels on a regular basis; they are a fantastic product.
