Buy 9Z0021N SENCO DURASPIN DS230-M1 2

FS2200, FS2500, FS4200, FS6200, XSF03, XSF04, XSF05 are Makita screwdrivers that work with this tool.

Drives #6 – #12 1″ to 2″ long screws with a collated head that can be driven by hand.

A patent-pending corner-fit feed system is used to feed. Improves the line of sight and makes it easier to get to the corners.

Speed and consistency are better when screws line up with the bit before you start to drive. This is called a feed-on-return system and it helps.

For quick access to the bit, reversing or finishing drives, the feed system can be easily removed from the body of the screwdriver, making it easy to get to the bit.

It’s easy to turn your screw gun into the best automatic-feed screw system with the DS230 series attachment. In just a few seconds, a standard screwdriver can be turned into an auto-feed screw system with an integrated collar that works with a wide range of popular branded corded and cordless screwdrivers. Choose from four models that work with the screwdrivers of the same brand.

A lot of people say that collated attachments don’t work well. A lot of people said that they couldn’t get them to work without jamming, and others said that the depth is never the same.

Well, I got this attachment today, and I had to try it out before I started to drywall my basement, so I had to do that. First of all, I think the attachment is great. It’s very easy to attach to my makita screw gun, and it feels good to hold and move around with. You can remove the bit holder from the Makita, attach one of the included bits from the Senco, and put the magazine on top of the tool. Then, twist the collar to tighten it up.

Next, you need to make sure that the tip of the attachment fits the screw you are using, so that it fits (anywhere between 1 to 2 inch screws). Count how far down the screw goes. You can see the first screw I ran in the picture. The screw went too far down, so I turned the fine adjust dial out and ran another test screw to make sure. This screw was a little too short. There were two more clicks and the depth was just right.

After I fixed the tool, I ran about 14 screws as quickly as I could and WOW! I was amazed. This tool is very easy to use. My screws were all the same length and didn’t get stuck once.

I’m going to run a lot of screws through this attachment in the next few months, so if anything changes, I’ll make sure to write a review. Now, it’s worth it just for the time savings.
