I have a lot of 20V Skil products that I like, which is why I bought the Bare Tool version. This Skil Reciprocating saw is no different.

The 20V motor is strong. This saw felt as powerful to me, as the corded 115-volt saw I have. When I have to use the corded reciprocal saw instead of the Skil, it won’t happen very ofte.
The blade is easy to put in and take out without any tools. Turn the locking mechanism to open or lock the blade in place with just a twist of the handle. The blade is very well held.
I love when hand tools come with the tools they need. In this case, there is a mechanical Allen wrench that is used to adjust the throat length.
