The tools represent excellent value for the money ($124). They have done a fantastic job with household chores so far. The drill and drivers have a reasonable amount of power and a lengthy battery life. Even when I take my daughter to the parks in the evening, I am able to make use of the torch light. The magnets on the torch are extremely useful for mounting purposes.
They are NOT BRUSHLESS, however, due to the fact that they are outdated models.
According to the SKIL website, all of the powercore20 tools are brushless. That is not the case. The 2018 models (including the ones in this set) have a brushed surface. The brushless sets are significantly more powerful than the conventional sets. In this particular set, the driver has a torque of 1100 lbin, which is quite impressive. The brushless ones, on the other hand, have 1800 lbin.
However, for general household tasks, I believe this set will be sufficient.
