Buy Sharpener, Smith

This tool can sharpen almost anything: a blade that’s very dull or broken, to a blade that needs a quick touch-up.

Arkansas and diamond stones are both natural. Diamond stones with a bumpy surface speed up sharpening.

Large stones can be used with small or large knives. Worked on a lot of knives and tools.

A non-skid plastic base; a trough in the base to catch extra lubricant.

Premium honing solution, sharpening instructions, and an angle guide are all in this package.

smith’s 50448 6″ Diamond Tri-Hone is great for sharpening pocket knives, hunting knives, kitchen knives and cutting tools of all sizes, big or small, with ease. It has two diamond sharpening stones with a unique Micro-Tool Sharpening Pad and a Natural Arkansas stone to finish and polish the cutting edge. 6″ x 1-5/8″ colored and labeled stones come with a coarse diamond stone (325 grit) as well as a Fine Diamond Stone and an Arkansas Natural Stone, which are all different types of stones. On a triangular-shaped base with handles on each end, all three stones are placed. This makes it easy to move them around and to read their labels. Strong, non-slip stands keep the stones in place. At the bottom of each stand are small troughs that can collect any extra honing solution that spills over. If you buy this set, you also get a sharpening angle guide and one ounce bottle of high-quality honing solution.

I’ve never had knives that were so sharp. All of the knives in the house have been sharpened. I’m the boy scout Scoutmaster, so I have a lot of knives. The best thing is the little plastic angle guide. It makes sure that you always have the right angle on the blade when you cut something. They were things I thought were gone for good. I brought them back. My kitchen knives were all honed. My scissors were honed. In fact, I took it with me to Boy Scout camp. I sharpened the new knives that Scouts had just bought in the trading post so that they could carve wood better. Razor-sharp: It only takes about 10 swipes on each side of the blade on each surface to make them. Well worth the money.
