If you’re anything like me, this isn’t going to work the way you think it will. I thought about taking this bit and a cordless drill to my camp so I could just go to town on my wood pile for kindling. Not at all. My cordless drill would always get stuck, no matter what I did to try to fix it. So, I said “Screw it,” and I started to use the corded hammer drill. That still doesn’t work. I was able to cut up three pieces, which is enough kindling to start a few fires but not much. It should be less than an inch and a half thick and flat. If you happen to have that, you can cut it up in about five minutes or so. Something that is more than a half an inch wide and 1.5 inches thick will need to be much more durable. :. Not at all like how I planned. It doesn’t work quickly, either. I added a picture. It took me about 25 minutes to do that.
