Hook and loop backing pad is made of high-quality rubber and has a semi-flexible backer that is easy to move.
In order for attachments to stick better, you need a rubber backing pad that is of high quality.
A brass arbor with a 5/8″ 11 thread is on the end of it.

The RPM of your grinder is important. I use scotchbrite pads on a 4 1/2″ grinder sometimes every day. I needed a new rubber pad because my 3M Velcro was ruined by my plan to use the edge. I bought this and put a pad on the grinder. When I started working, the pad flew off and hit the wall at a speed that was faster than the speed of light. This is the first time I’ve had that happen. I’ve used a pardon a grinder to clean electrical connections for more than 30 years. I bought a new pad because I thought the one I had was bad. This one also flew off and hit the wall. This is what I did when I went to buy 3M. I read the instructions for this product before I did. It can only go at 4500 RPM. Because I don’t have a grinder that slow. This could hurt you!
