4 “Premium grade STADEA Super A series – dry diamond polishing pad grit 100 – 1 piece for dry polishing granite, marble, concrete, stone, granite tile, marble tile, glass, and other natural stone surfaces in high traffic areas. It is an aggressive polishing pad that is made from premium diamond powder that has been resin-bonded together. It is adaptable and works well for dry polishing contoured surfaces, flat surfaces, and edges of all shapes and sizes. The hexagonal polishing segment of the polishing pad dissipates heat more quickly, ensuring that the stone does not become overheated during the dry polishing process. It comes with velcro on the opposite side of the polishing surface, which is used to attach it to the velcro backing pads on the polishing surface. It is possible to use dry polishing pads on grinders or polishers that have a low speed/variable speed setting. Please understand that I am not an expert in diamond polishing, but I found these to be quite aggressive, resulting in a significant amount of time spent removing scratches. That, in my opinion, is a case of user error. If you are willing to put in many hours of effort from start to finish, this will almost certainly be a successful endeavor for you. Using them wet seems to make them last a little longer than my other diamond polishing sets, which is a good thing. If you don’t use wet, they’ll be gone in a flash. All of the diamond “pads” have this characteristic. Just be cautious, take it seriously, and read ahead of time, and you’ll be fine.
