The 009L is defiantly the model you want if you are looking at this series of saw. The 009L have no AV but don’t really seem to need it, as you usually aren’t running these saws for long periods of time. I have lots of saws in my collection but find the little Stihl 009L or 011AVT are my first choice when I know I’m going into the woods and need a reliable small saw.
