The only straight line sander with two cylinders and a common piston that has vertically engaged twin drive gears. The absence of “rolling gears,” which is present in all other straight lines, eliminates “humping and jumping” at the end of each reciprocal stroke. It is powered by two in-line cylinders that have been micro-honed to eliminate cylinder wall drag and by an oversized high – alloy piston. Double rack and pinion gear assemblies provide twice the normal amount of gear contact, resulting in the greatest possible balance and thrust.
