Gasoline that is Unleaded 87+ (10 percent) is used to run the engine.
Runs for less than a second. Waiting to hear back from the seller or the manufacturer. I give it a 3 right now, but I might change it based on what other people say.
It turns out that the low oil level sensor is the problem. I unplugged the black lead that goes from the switch to the sensor and tapped them together to keep the ends from grounding to the case. This worked. In order to put the sensor back in the cable management strap, I couldn’t put it there without it grounding and causing the same problem, so I had to leave it loose. Do not connect the lead to anything on the engine.
I had to tighten a screw to stop a cable from moving when it was attached to the carburetor, but that didn’t stop it from vibrating back to idle. I had to keep the throttle at full throttle to keep it from vibrating back to idle. I’m going to look for a more durable throttle replacement from an aftermarket company.
There was a bend in the prongs that hold the cap on. This caused the cap to leak very much. This doesn’t allow the cap to be tight enough against the rubber O-ring/gasket to keep it in place. To fix that, I had to drill out the pop rivets and flatten the prongs. I then reattached them with new rivets.
4) The warranty card for the machine did not come with the machine when it was bought.
After a lot of troubleshooting, the machine seems to be well made and works great now. if you don’t mind having to deal with that and don’t care about a warranty, this is a good deal. I’ll give it 3 stars because it took a lot of work to get it up and running.
