Initially, the nozzle began leaking because of a crack that developed where the nozzle nipple connected to the nozzle head on the original nozzle. I purchased this kit in May and it lasted approximately 2 months, including two camping trips. I was very careful when installing the nozzle; the galvanized retaining nut was only finger tight, and the black foam washer wasn’t even fully compressed when it was finished with the installation. This one cracked in the same spot as the previous one, and it actually broke into two parts. Is this a genuine Thetford part, or is it a shoddy knockoff?
