Without the chuck assembly, the center height in vertical position is approximately 2-5/8″ (66 mm). The hand wheel is graduated in 10-minute increments and has the option of being reset to zero. This was ordered as a combination unit with a number of other items. A rotary table, as well as a jaw chuck, are used.
An arbor was provided to allow the chuck to be attached to the table.
The rotary table is in good working order. This product was NOT manufactured in China. It originated in India.
It will serve as a complement to my main 8″ table. The 8″ table is heavy, and it is not worth the effort if you only need it for a small piece of equipment. When working on small jobs, the 4″ table will be ideal.
That’s where I’m having trouble: with the chuck arbor. It is intended for the chuck to screw onto the arbor through a threaded hole in the back of the chuck; however, the stud in the arbor is too small for the chuck to screw onto it. I haven’t decided what I’m going to do next.
