I bought this on a whim because I already had two Black and Decker 20v batteries from another purchase, so I thought I’d try it out. Corded circular saw: I don’t use it because I don’t have enough power. This one, even though it’s smaller, can do the same things that my bigger, corded circular saw can do. It cuts and cuts very well. It is more convenient, and it is also quiet (always a plus). I was sceptical at first, but now I’m on board. It has its flaws, as other reviews have said. Keep in mind that cutting thick boards or long cuts will take some time. Let the saw do its job.
Some people have said that it’s hard to get the blade out. I haven’t found this set up to be any different from other circular saws I’ve used before. I’ve changed the blade more often and more quickly than I did on my corded circular saw.
All in all, I’m happy with this saw. You can’t go wrong with it in your work space.
