At the time I ordered it, I was unaware that it was designed/intended for a specific make/model of circular saw, which is not the model that I currently own. However, because the mounting bracket was essentially just a flat piece of steel with a couple of holes in it, I was able to find a suitable spot on my circular saw, drill a couple of holes, and secure it with a variety of different (shorter) fasteners to save time. Installation is a piece of cake. I wasn’t able to locate it in the most optimal location in terms of how the saw balances when hung from a rafter, but it still functions properly. The all-steel hanger is extremely durable and well-constructed. I was concerned that the hanger wouldn’t be able to be easily flipped out for use or back in when not in use, but once it was mounted, it was surprisingly simple to use and operate. I’m overjoyed, especially considering that it only cost about $10. I would definitely recommend it, and I will most likely purchase another when I upgrade my saw.
