I only used this pad on one of the bedrooms’ floors. In my experience, moving the sander in a sideways motion frequently resulted in a scuff in the wood floor. In addition, the blue taped seam on a number of aftermarket belts failed much sooner than anticipated.
This pad arrived just in time for me to finish the second bedroom floor. Because the belts were running cooler, there was less scuffing, and the blue seamed belts stayed together better. I’m pleased with my purchase, and yes, the holes were aligned correctly.
