To get rid of the dirty, soapy water that is left on my carpets after I clean them, I bought this shop vac. People are amazed by the suction. It does a great job, and I was very happy with that part of the vacuum cleaner. The thing that bothers me is that water drips from where the hose connects to the vac, and I don’t like it. So, I always have to make sure there is some kind of plastic under the vacuum to keep dirty water from getting into the carpet again. I’ve checked, and I’m sure I’ve attached the hose to the vac very well. It doesn’t have a good, leak-proof seal. That’s not very good. I wonder if it’s just my shop vac, or if it was made with that flaw.
