My first 23g pin nailer was the one I bought. I needed it for a small project, and the price was great because I didn’t need much. Fired 3 or 4 times fine when I first opened the box. Then, when I tried to fire again with nails, nothing came out. Because it was hard to get the pins out, I took the sleeve out. After a lot of trial and error, I was able to get it to fire one or two more times before it stopped again. Long story short, I had to remove the front “jam” door. When I did, I saw that the back plate where the nails slide from the magazine didn’t line up with the magazine, so the nails were getting stuck trying to slide through that small hole. Once that was done, I also took one of the springs out of the feeder magazine because I found that it worked better when I held the nails with my hand and didn’t close the nail door. I then oiled everything and have shot about 200 pins with no jams or misfires, so for the money, this is a great gun as long as you don’t mind taking it apart AvE style to fix it.
